What happens in a consultation.

Simple, calm and centred on you. Every appointment follows the same three steps.

  1. Tell us what is going on

A private, unhurried conversation about your concerns, your history and what matters most to you.

  2. Make sense of it together

We explain the relevant health information clearly, talk through the options and answer your questions.

  3. Leave with clear next steps

You go home with a written plan, so you know what to do next and where further care may be needed.

Two nurses who wanted a better conversation.

Elevate was started by two registered nurses who kept seeing the same thing: women and girls with questions that got rushed, avoided or left unanswered. The aim is simple. Combine clinical knowledge with time, warmth and clear explanations, so people leave feeling informed rather than overwhelmed.

Health is personal. Everything you tell us stays between you and your nurse, with a small number of exceptions that we explain before we start, especially when we are working with younger people and families.

  • Private, respectful and judgement-free conversations.
  • A clear explanation of confidentiality and its limits.
  • Age-appropriate safeguarding, with parents and carers involved in the right way.
  • We do not ask for health details through this website. We ask what we need at your appointment.

Before you book.

Who is Elevate for?

Women, girls and families who want reliable, clinician-led support around women's health, puberty, periods, sexual health, hormones and related concerns.

Can a parent or carer come along?

Yes. Parent and daughter sessions are designed for exactly that, and for other appointments we agree the right level of involvement with you, depending on age, need and confidentiality.

Are consultations confidential?

Yes. What you tell us stays private. The only exceptions are where someone is at risk of serious harm or where the law requires us to share, and we explain those limits clearly at the start. Our confidentiality and safeguarding page has the detail.

Do you prescribe medication?

No. We provide education, advice and consultations. Where treatment or a prescription may be needed, we will say so and help you take that to your GP or another service.

Do I need a GP referral?

No. You can contact us directly. If it would help, we can suggest what to raise with your GP afterwards.

What if I need urgent medical help?

Elevate is not an emergency service. If you or someone else needs urgent help, call 999 in an emergency or NHS 111 for urgent advice, rather than waiting for an appointment with us.

Where do appointments happen?

Venue and travel details to follow. All appointments are face-to-face in Salisbury and surrounding areas. We do not offer online consultations.

Not sure what you need? That is fine.

Tell us a little about who the enquiry is for and we will come back to you with the best next step. You do not need to have it all worked out first.
